Well back in June I promised y'all that we'd bring back two of the new songs that we introduced, "Undignified" and "Bless The Lord". So, true to my promise, we brought 'em back this week. I was very pleased with worship this morning. The congregation was into the worship and after two weeks off, the band was energetic. Lots of energy and a great time of worship.
David Mitchell opened up James Chapter 1 for us and used the movie "Yes Man"
staring Jim Carrey for our second week of the Blockbuster series. David's basic premise was what if we said yes to God in areas where we would normally say no? What could God do through us? He challenged us to do that in one area this week and to share the stories. I'm looking forward to hearing what we allowed God to do by saying yes!As always, part of Fred McKinnon's Sunday Set Lists - where you can see what other churches are doing for worship.
